# Plan My re:Invent > A free reference guide to connecting Claude Code, Codex, or Kiro to AWS Events and planning what to attend at re:Invent 2026. Read all instructions without an account. Authentication and schedule operations are provided by AWS, not this website. ## When to use this guide Use this site when someone wants help connecting an AI client to AWS Events, finding relevant re:Invent sessions, or proposing a schedule. The person needs an event registration and signs in directly with AWS Builder ID through their client. Read the existing schedule, discuss preferences, and propose an itinerary. Obtain explicit approval before changing favorites, reservations, cancellations, or personal-time blocks. Read the schedule again to verify each outcome. ## Resources - [Agent documentation](https://planmyreinvent.com/docs/): How to use the free, public reference API; authentication is not required to read this guide - [JSON reference](https://planmyreinvent.com/api/v1/guide.json): Exact client configurations and planning prompt from the visible page; GET, read-only, no API key - [OpenAPI](https://planmyreinvent.com/openapi.json): Typed contract for the reference API; AWS operates the separate event and schedule services - [Complete guide in Markdown](https://planmyreinvent.com/index.md): The three steps, client configurations, planning prompt, and troubleshooting - [Visual guide](https://planmyreinvent.com/): Same workflow with copy buttons - [Quickstart](https://planmyreinvent.com/docs/quickstart.md): Setup details - [ARD catalog](https://planmyreinvent.com/.well-known/ard.json): Resource discovery - [AI catalog](https://planmyreinvent.com/.well-known/ai-catalog.json): Index of agent-facing resources - [About](https://planmyreinvent.com/about/): Purpose, authorship, and sources - [Contact](https://planmyreinvent.com/contact/): Guide feedback and service support - [Privacy](https://planmyreinvent.com/privacy/): Local settings and external services - [AWS Events documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/events/latest/devguide/mcp-server.html): Authoritative service reference ## Browser tools In browsers supporting WebMCP, the page provides two read-only tools: `get_reinvent_planning_prompt` and `get_aws_events_mcp_setup`. They return the visible instructions. AWS provides the actual MCP service at `https://api.awsevents.com/mcp`. Updated 1 October 2026.
